Create a category

The food categories will contain each types of foods you have on offer. This will help to show the category text above the items we will create in the next step. For example:

• Pizzas

• Sandwitches

• Burders

• Beverages

Create a category

Head back to your MenuStripe dashboard, click on the store (Star Pizza) we have created in the last step, click on the menu (Lunch & Dinner) and click on "Create category".

The category we will create will be called "Burgers" and it will be inside the "Lunch and Dinner" menu.

Quick look at category + items

We will create each item in the next step, but if done right, this is what a category should look like. The items you will see inside each category will be added in the next (final) step.
